I started a running blog in 2012 as a way to share my training with friends that I missed from back home. That’s pretty much all it was to start with, weekly recaps of my training. After a while, I started throwing in race recaps and trip report type blogs about different cool places I had run. Unfortunately, I have had a tendency to struggle with keeping up with it. I’ll write a bunch for a few weeks then go a month without anything. In an effort to combat that, I bought the domain certifiedrollers.com and gave the old blog a fresh start. Maybe 18 bucks a year will be the kick in the tail that I need to take this thing to the next step. I have always enjoyed writing and I enjoy getting out and challenging myself, so the goal is for this to be a chronicle of those efforts.
I’m a runner, first and foremost, but I also like to consider myself a general adventurer – even if those adventures tend to be of the suburban type. I am down for pretty much anything human powered. Oh and I’m a fiercely proud New Englander despite the fact that I’ve lived in Atlanta for nearly 10 years. W
